This is an unfinished 54mm white metal kit from Andrea inspired by our recent trip to Scotland. My wife has always wanted to wade in the waters of Loch Ness. The base is resin and is mounted on Purple heart.

In its day Castle Urquhart was one of the largest strongholds of medieval Scotland. The castle was then largely destroyed in 1692 by Clan Grant who exploded the powder magazine during the Jacobite uprising. The intention was to ensure that the castle could not become a Jacobite stronghold, an intention that was fully achieved as the castle was never repaired and remains so today.
