This one’s gonna be a biggie (look at the quarter next to the Turret for scale). I have assembled Trumpeter’s huge 1/16th scale tank, which I now need to destroy and display. The figure is assembled from the spare parts box, and the diorama will be mounted on Mahogany base.

The Angolan Civil War lasted 27 years and was one of the Cold War's largest, longest and bloodiest conflicts. The two warring factions were the MPLA, which was supported by the Soviet Union, and the UNITA, which was supported by the United States. Ending in 2002, Over 500,000 people lost their lives. The United Nations estimated in 2003 that overall life expectancy for an Angolan was less than 40 years of age. Here, an Angolan soldier pauses beside a WW2 Soviet surplus T34/85 tank.
