I found a model of the monster from "20,000,000 Miles to Earth" made by Monsters in Motion and decided to put it into a 1/35 scale diorama. The figures are kit-bashed from Dragon and Tamiya. It’s assembled and ready for painting. The cast resin terrain from Model Celler is mounted on a Padauk base.

This diorama is a modern interpretation of the 1957 Ray Harryhausen movie, 20 million Miles to Earth. In this film, a tiny specimen of Venusian life named Ymir grows to enormous size due to the Earth's atmosphere. Ray Harryhausen used stop motion animation to create the creature effects on this movie and several others including Jason and the Argonauts, The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, and Mighty Joe Young.
